Is the pool chlorine-free?

Yes. The pool is treated with salt rather than chlorine or other chemical products, which is gentler on skin, eyes and hair. That matters if you are swimming every day or travelling with children. It is a private outdoor pool, not shared. If you need it heated, ask us before booking so we can confirm.

Do I need a car, and can you arrange an airport transfer?

A car is strongly recommended. Can Cama sits in open countryside about 3 km from Santa Gertrudis village and 18 km from the airport, and there is free private parking on site for several vehicles. If you would rather not drive on arrival day, an airport transfer can be arranged on request at additional cost. Send us your flight details and we will quote it.

How are the bedrooms arranged, and can we have twin beds instead of doubles?

Four bedrooms sleeping eight: two with a large double bed and two with twin beds. Several rooms can be made up either way, so tell us your preferred configuration before arrival and we will set it up. Each bedroom has its own air conditioning and a TV with Netflix and satellite channels. Cots and extra beds are not available, so all eight guests use the existing beds.

Does the villa get uncomfortably hot in summer?

Less than most. The house was built with double-wall thermal insulation specifically for the island’s climate extremes, so interiors stay cool through the summer and warm in winter, and guests typically run the air conditioning far less than they expect. Air conditioning is installed throughout in any case, along with free Wi-Fi.

Is Can Cama suitable for families with young children?

Yes. Children of all ages are welcome and families book this villa regularly. The grounds are a walled, planted orchard, so the outdoor space is genuinely private and enclosed rather than overlooked. Two practical points: cots and extra beds are not available, and the minimum age for the guest checking in is 18.

Is there a security deposit, and when is it charged?

Yes. A refundable security deposit of €1,000 is taken against your credit card 14 days before arrival and released after check-out, once the property has been checked. It is a hold against damage, not a charge: if nothing is damaged, nothing is deducted.
