Is the pool chlorine-free, and is it open all year?

Yes, the pool is treated with salt rather than chlorine or other chemical products. It is an outdoor pool that operates seasonally, so it is not heated and is best enjoyed from spring through autumn rather than in winter. If your dates fall outside the main season, ask us to confirm the pool will be open before you book.

Is Es Casals Nou wheelchair accessible?

The villa is built on a single ground floor with no internal stairs, and the property offers wheelchair accessible facilities. If you or someone in your group has specific mobility needs, tell us in advance so we can confirm the details of access, bathrooms and the pool area work for you.

How private is the property?

Very. The villa sits at the end of an electronic gate and a private track of about 200 metres, surrounded by olive trees and vineyard, with very few visible neighbours. It is a genuinely rural, secluded setting rather than a house on a street.

Can we choose single or double beds in each room?

Yes. Across the 4 bedrooms you can request either configuration per room, so tell us your preference before arrival and we will set the beds up accordingly. Every bedroom has its own bathroom, air conditioning and a TV.

Do I need a car?

Yes, a car is strongly recommended. The villa is in a rural setting about 3 km from Santa Gertrudis village and roughly 19 to 20 km from the airport, and a car rental service can be arranged through the property if you do not want to book one yourself. There is free private parking on site.

Is there a security deposit, and when is it charged?

Yes. A refundable security deposit of €1,000 is taken against your credit card 7 days before arrival and released after check-out, once the property has been checked. It is a hold against damage, not a charge: if nothing is damaged, nothing is deducted.
